Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Solid experience in full-stack development, strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and server-side languages (C# and Node.js are required).
- Solid experience with modern front-end frameworks (React is required).
- Experience in AWS RDS services (Aurora/PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with AWS and Cloud deployment.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (Circle CI and AWS CDK).
- Familiarity with version control systems and their platforms (Git and GitHub are required).
- Good understanding of designing RESTful APIs.
- Good understanding of micro-service and event-driven architectures.
- Best practices and web accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Understanding of implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
- Advanced English for conversation.
Skills
- Strong algorithm design, logical and reasoning skills.
- Ability to deliver POCs, MVPs, Experiments, technology evaluations following design-thinking practices.
- Ability to orchestrate efforts needed to prioritize business initiatives across complex change agendas.
- Excellent communication, and work in a team environment to collaborate with other Developers, Architects, Product Managers, Business Analysts and Infrastructure teams.
- Problem solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technology choices for new projects.
- Contribute to the development of coding standards and best practices within the team.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and other Stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Identify and propose solutions for technical debt and system improvements.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
